The Great Wall, one of the greatest wonders of the world, was listed as a World Heritage by UNESCO in 1987. This distinction greatly enhanced the allure of Great Wall tourism. Preserved in a good state of its original features with many diverse watch towers, the 10 kilometers Great Wall from Jinshanling section to Simatai section wanders and fluctuates against the mountains for almost 400 years. Mutianyu Great Wal Hiking:

Mutianyu, never as crowed as the Badaling section but with the same splendor and elegance, has become the new love of more and more Great Wall tourists both from home and abroad. This section is well preserved and much gentler than other parts of wall, so it is good for the old and the young. With greenery covering up to 90% of the mountain, Mutianyu gives visitors different views in different seasons.

Huanghuacheng Great Wall Hiking:

First built in North Qi Dynasty and repaired in the Ming Dynasty, Huangyaguan enjoys a history of more than 1400 years. Leaning against steep hills in the east and cliffs in the west, Huangyaguan is considered a miniature of the entire Great Wall.

Jiankou Great Wall Hiking:

Jiankou, built in the Ming Dynasty, is one of the most famous wild walls. Constructed on the ridge of dangerous peaks and broken cliffs, it is famous for its majesty and danger. It is one of the most favored sections for Great Wall hiking for hikers around the world.

Shanhaiguan and Laologtou Great Wall Hiking

Laolongtou (Old Dragon's Head), Shanhaiguan and Jiaoshan compose the eastern-most section of the Ming Dynasty Great Wall. Laolongtou, with one end sinking into the sea, is the eastern starting point, while Shanhaiguan Pass is considered to be the First Pass and Jiaoshan Mountian boasts the First Mountain of the Wall.
