Day 01 Airport Transfer

Airport transfer. Our guide will meet with you at the airport and bring you to your hotel. Free for the rest of the day.

Day 02 Shanghai World Expo China Pavilion (B)

Our guide will send you to the Expo site China Pavilion.

Day 03 Shanghai City Tour (B/L/D)

Your Shanghai city tour starts today after breakfast. Today's major attractions are:

The Shanghai World Financial Center: Birdview at the top of this super tall skyscraper as high as 1,615 ft, after Burj Dubai and Taipei 101.

The Bund: Once the home of the foreign traders and major banks, the embankment has taken on a new vitality; lovely old European-style buildings mix with futuristic developments, chic restaurants, top end shops and bars offer plenty to see and do – and by night it's magic!

Yuyuan Garden: The Chinese traditional garden inside the bustling downtown of Shanghai features everything from popular local snacks and food, crafts, antiques and souvenirs to Starbucks, teahouses and some great restaurants.

The Former French Concession: Is the area of Shanghai once designated for the French. Today, the area's central Huaihai Rd is a busy shopping street, but the tree-lined avenues and their many Tudor mansions still retain an air of the "Paris of the East".

Xintiandi has become an urban tourist attraction that holds the historical and cultural legacies of the city. Shanghai Xin Tian Di is a fashionable pedestrian street composed of Shikumen and modern architecture style.

Day 04 Zhouzhuang Tour (B/L/D)

Saying Good-bye to the modernization of Shanghai, we take you to Zhouzhuang, the old town near Suzhou and famous for canals in town. To learn more about Zhouzhuang, please visit the Zhouzhuang page.

In the afternoon, we take you to the famous city of Suzhou, the city of silk and named "the Oriental Venice" with 2,500 years of history.

Day 05 Suzhou Tour (B/L/D)

Wangshi Yuan (Garden of the Master of Nets): Wang Shi Garden, or Garden of the Master of the Fishing Nets, was originally the garden of the Song official Shi Zhengzhi and bore the name Thousand Scroll Hall. It was rebuilt during the reign of Emperor Qian Long and changed to its present name.

Grand Canal: It is the most famous local waterway k, located to the west of the city. It is believed to be the largest internal waterway in the world, and was originally constructed to carry tribute grain from the Yangzi plain to the capital. Marco Polo, who visited Suzhou in the 13th century, wrote that “the great Khan... has made a huge canal of great width and depth from river to river and from lake to lake and made the water flow along it so that it looks like a big river. " Although the canal is not used for long-distance transport today, it is still heavily used by a great number of flat-bottomed boats under sail and engine power conveying agricultural produce to nearby towns.

Suzhou Silk Museum: Suzhou was once the capital of silk of China. Thread lanes, brocade mills, embroidery flower streets, etc., in the city. That proved the prosperity of Suzhou embroidery. Some lived by embroidering. Daughters in rich families were engaged in it as a way of killing time and molding their experiment. That's how "popular embroidery", "boudoir embroidery" and "palace embroidery" came into being. The Suzhou Silk Museum reflects the history of embroidery and modern innovation.

Tiger Hill: Tiger Hill (Huqiu) is the most famous sight in Suzhou city, enjoying the reputation of "The first scenic spot in Wu area" by its imposing beauty, including Leisure Spring, Testing Sword Rock, Third Spring, Broken-Pillar-Hall and Mountain Villa Wrapped in Emerald Green etc.

Day 06 Hangzhou Tour (B/L/D)

West Lake Boating: The West Lake covers an area of 6 km (600 hectares) and includes some of Hangzhou's most notable historic and scenic places. Adjacent to the lake is a scenic area covering over 50 square kilometres. The area includes historical pagodas, cultural sites, as well as the natural beauty of the lake and hills. Boating on the Lake is a fantastic experience of leisure and peace.

Fish-watching at the Port of Flowers: The port is an island in West Lake where you'll see the flowers and the pool of golden fish.

Day 07 Hangzhou Tour (B/L/D)

Linyin Temple: The temple is without doubt a premier showpiece in the West Lake environs and is notable also as one of the ten most famous Buddhist temples of China.  The monastery was founded in 328 AD during the Eastern Jin Dynasty by monk Huili, who came from India. Today, it is thriving as a destination for both pilgrims and tourists. It is regarded as one of the wealthiest monasteries in China, and regular pilgrims have included former paramount leader Deng Xiaoping.

Peak Flown From Afar: It is about 700 feet tall. It is a pure limestone mountain that is very distinctive from the sandstone mountains around it. Large stones scattered along the peak are said to resemble animals like a flying dragon, a running elephant, a crouching tiger, and a fleeing monkey.

Longjing Teaism: Experience the genuine Chinese tea ceremony in a nice tea house to drink Hangzhou's famous Longjing tea.

Day 08 Farewell from Shanghai (B)
