Taxi

Take escalator down to the ground level for taxi or shuttle.

At the end, you are on the ground level.

You are actually exit from Gate 11. You'll see shuttle buses and taxi cabs immediately.

You can see people lining up for taxi at the taxi station.

An uniformed security guy sends you to the cab that belongs to you when it's your turn.

Most taxi drivers do not speak English, nor can they read. So, please show him your hotel address in Chinese immediately.
Please watch the meter by the car window and the Driver's Service Registration Card. To get to a hotel in the city, it will be typically
about RMB120 (including the Airport Expressway toll of RMB10), which is about USD18. It will take about 40-50 minutes to get to
your hotel (e.g. Guangxi Hotel or New Dragon Hostel). You should get a receipt (in Chinese, it is said FA-PIAO) from the fare register/meter and a toll receipt.
Please ask for the receipt before getting off. If necessary, remember the plate number.
Taxi in Beijing and throughout China is very cheap compared to USA and Europe. Please reject any solicitation from non-authorized vehicles.

>>>> Shuttle

You can also take shuttle to your destination. It is very inexpensive at RMB16 or USD 2.50.
However, we do not recommend taking the shuttle because it won't take you directly to your hotel if you are first-time visitor to Beijing.
You will need a taxi to transfer anyway. Very few taxi drivers at the bus stops are willing to take you because they rather take guests for longer distance.

However, we still introduce the shuttle service, in case you are really tight on a budget or are an experienced visitor to Beijing or China.
