The five-storey hotel building was
refurbished in 1998. There are 100 guestrooms with
standard rooms of 15 square meters.
It takes 25 minutes' driving to Beijing Railway
Station, 45 minutes to Beijing International Airport
and 10 minutes to downtown.
Surrounding resorts are Beihai Park, Jingshan Park,
Laoshe's former residence, Luxun's former residence,
Gongwangfu Park etc.
There are facilities like beauty salon, sauna, Karaoke
and restaurant serving Sichuan and Shandong cuisines as
well as a 50-person conference room in the hotel.
This hotel is located in Beijing's
busiest commercial area Xinjiekou, where you can shop
and dine. You can take a bus for a few stops and get
to Tian'anmen and Xidan.
Taxi in
Beijing and China is very cheap at less than US$0.25
per km. So, if you take a taxi from the Beijing
Airport, it will cost you about $10 to $15. You don't
have to pay gratuity. So, just take a taxi and the
