  1. Day 1: meet the group, transfer to Jinshanling and hike toward West Simatai.
  2. Continue to Gubeikou and settle at the booked camp.
  3. Day 2: enjoy sunrise and return to Beijing.

Day 1 · Shared hike, separate camp

  1. Group departure

    Meet at the stated Beijing point and travel with the hiking group.

  2. Jinshanling to West Simatai

    Walk the approximately 6 km route with the leader, pausing at towers.

  3. Gubeikou transfer

    Travel from the group hike to the booked overnight location.

  4. Camp evening

    Settle at the approved camp with the arranged local support.

Day 2 · Gubeikou sunrise

  1. Early view

    Enjoy the morning light over the old Gubeikou ridge.

  2. Breakfast and pack-up

    Eat and return the camp equipment.

  3. Local transfer

    Meet the driver or local team for the onward connection.

  4. Beijing return

    Arrive back by the booked service.

Walking level and practical details

The reference walk is about 6 km and 3–3½ hours. Group guiding and overnight support may differ; review the confirmed inclusions.

On a camping trip, the approved overnight location and the gear supplied are confirmed before payment. Weather or local access can require a different camp or an adjusted walking route.
