What to know

Understand what you are visiting

The excavated figures form part of the burial complex associated with Qin Shi Huang. Different pits and displays reveal the scale of the project and the variety among the soldiers, horses and equipment. A guided visit helps relate these details to the broader imperial story.

Allow for the transfer outside the city

The museum visit requires a road journey from central Xi’an. An arrival flight or train, hotel collection and traffic all affect how much time is available. It is better to organize the day around the museum than assume every city attraction can be added afterwards.

Choose the city visits that matter to you

The City Wall offers a view across the old and modern city, with walking or optional cycling depending on your plans. The Big Wild Goose Pagoda area, local food neighborhoods and evening performances provide other possibilities when the schedule supports them.

Compare complete itineraries

Our tour comparison page sets out the transport options from Beijing, Shanghai and Tianjin. Use it to weigh a long day trip against a hotel night or overnight-train journey, rather than comparing only the sightseeing list.

Planning your visit

Choose your museum day alongside your arrival and departure times. We can then confirm guiding, admissions, city stops and the return transfer.
