3-Day Great Wall Hiking Tours

Three days are enough to explore several contrasting sections without turning every morning into another return trip from central Beijing.

Compare the journeys

Select a three-day route with a clear focus

The collection includes different combinations rather than a single standard trek. Some programs emphasize Gubeikou and Jinshanling before a restored Mutianyu finish. Others include Jiankou’s rougher terrain, a city landmark or the reservoir landscape farther afield. Read the daily sequence to see which experience is central to each program.

Compare the middle night as well as the walks

Staying near the hiking areas can reduce backtracking, but it also changes the accommodation experience. A camping night, local inn and hotel offer different facilities. Your chosen trek identifies the intended overnight locations, and we confirm what is available for your departure.

Leave room for the terrain

A day listed as a short distance may still involve steep steps and an approach through the forest. Check the effort across all three days rather than judging the trip by its longest walk alone. A balanced route should suit how you expect to feel on the final morning.

Coordinate with your Beijing stay

Tell us where the trek begins and whether you return to a hotel or need an onward connection. We can assess those plans alongside the final day’s walking and transfer.
