A longer progression through the landscape
The ten-day program begins with Old Dragon’s Head and Shanhaiguan, followed by Jiaoshan. It then turns inland through the Eastern Qing Tombs and Huangyaguan area, bringing a cultural visit and a fortified pass into the journey before the later ridge walks.
Give the inland sections their own days
Jinshanling, Gubeikou and Crouching Tiger Mountain appear as separate stages in the planned route. This allows time for their different terrain and views instead of compressing several names into one rushed day. Transfers link the areas where the journey cannot be walked continuously.
Continue through Jiankou and Mutianyu
The later program includes Jiankou and the transition to Mutianyu, followed by the Huanghuacheng landscape. Your guide assesses the appropriate approaches and available sections for the date, especially where the masonry is rough or steep.
Check the complete overnight plan
Longer treks need a clear account of where each day ends. We confirm accommodation, any permitted camp, meals and luggage arrangements with the daily route. This makes it easier to judge the trip’s comfort and cumulative walking effort before booking.
Planning your visit
The detailed ten-day page shows the planned sequence. We verify each trail and overnight base before issuing your final itinerary.
