Reach the selected entry
Your itinerary identifies the meeting point and the City Wall entrance used for the visit. The hotel transfer and entry process are included in the timing, so the riding period is not confused with the total length of the outing.
Choose cycling or walking
A ride can give a broader sense of the fortifications and the city beyond them. It also requires comfort handling a bicycle over the available surface and awareness of other visitors. A walking visit may be preferable for guests who want frequent stops, have limited cycling experience or would rather concentrate on the architecture.
Set a realistic riding distance
The plan does not need to cover an entire circuit to be worthwhile. Discuss how long you would like to ride and whether everyone in the group wants the same activity. The team checks the bicycle rental arrangement and the permitted riding conditions before confirming the visit.
Rejoin the rest of your Xi’an program
Return bicycles at the location specified by the rental operator and meet your guide or driver. This experience can fit into a larger Xi’an itinerary, but its timing should leave room for entry, equipment collection and an unhurried finish.
Planning your visit
Cycling depends on rental availability, weather and site rules. Tell us riders’ ages and experience, and ask about a walking alternative before booking.
