Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Arrive and settle in
Meet your arrival team at the airport and transfer privately to the hotel. Keep the rest of the day free for rest after the journey.
Day 2: Discover the Forbidden City
Explore the palace through a family-oriented treasure hunt, with a visit to the Clock and Watch Gallery where admission permits. Local snacks break up the sightseeing. Finish with an acrobatic show arranged for your departure date, balancing the day’s pace around the children’s energy.
Day 3: Mutianyu and a hotpot meal
Head out to the Great Wall at Mutianyu. Use the cable car arranged in your package and walk a manageable section between the towers. An optional toboggan descent depends on operating conditions and participant requirements. A copper-pot hotpot meal rounds out the day before the return to the city.
Day 4: Make, taste and explore
Visit the Temple of Heaven, then continue into the hutongs for dumpling making and a folk-art workshop. These activities give children something to do with their hands while introducing food and craft traditions. Session formats and timing are confirmed with the local hosts.
Day 5: Pandas and royal gardens
Visit the Panda House at Beijing Zoo before exploring the Summer Palace. The contrast between animal observation and landscaped grounds makes this a varied final sightseeing day. Your guide adjusts the walking route, rest stops and time beside the lake to suit the family.
Day 6: Departure
Check out and transfer to the airport according to the confirmed flight schedule, allowing a practical margin for the journey and check-in.
