Outbound evening: Board the sleeper
Travel to the Beijing departure station for the overnight train specified in your booking. Standard soft-sleeper accommodation is shared. A private deluxe compartment is an option only where the particular train offers that category and tickets can be secured.
Morning arrival and the Terracotta Warriors
Meet your guide at the Xi’an station, have breakfast and continue to the Terracotta Warriors Museum. Explore the excavated formations and displays with time to compare the figures’ roles and details. The museum is outside the city, so the local drive forms a significant part of the day’s logistics.
Lunch and Xi’an City Wall
After lunch, return toward the old city for a walk on the ramparts. Optional bicycle rental can be discussed if you want a more active visit. The walking route is matched to your pace and the time available before the evening departure.
Dinner and the return night
Enjoy the arranged dumpling banquet, then transfer for the booked train to Beijing. With an overnight return, arrival is the following morning. A high-speed return may be requested where a suitable service is available, changing the timing of the final sightseeing and dinner.
