Begin with imperial Beijing
Meet your guide at your Beijing hotel and travel to the Forbidden City. The palace visit follows a sequence of gates, courts and halls, giving you a sense of how the imperial complex was organized. Your guide helps put the buildings into context rather than treating the stop as a quick photo opportunity.
Continue to the Great Wall
Leave the city for the Great Wall section agreed in your itinerary, with Mutianyu an option in the retained program. This transfer is a substantial part of the day, so the palace visit and the Wall walk need to be planned together. A shorter city visit can leave more time for the mountains, while a longer palace exploration means a more limited walk.
At the Wall, choose a manageable stretch with your guide. Stone stairways and repeated climbs can make even a short distance demanding. Any cable-car or toboggan choice should be discussed before booking and checked against the selected section.
Return to your hotel
The private vehicle returns you to Beijing after sightseeing. Meal stops and admissions are specified in the proposal, along with the intended sequence and expected return window.
Planning your visit
We check palace admission availability and the Great Wall operating schedule before confirming this full-day combination. Share any fixed evening commitment at the planning stage.
