Early transfer from Chengdu
Your guide and driver collect you from the hotel for the journey to Dujiangyan. The original schedule begins around 7:00 AM, with arrival and registration later in the morning. We confirm the actual reporting time with the facility before booking.
Registration and staff briefing
On arrival, complete the required registration and receive the instructions and equipment provided for the program. Staff explain the approved activities and the rules for movement around the panda areas. Your guide assists with communication throughout the visit.
Morning conservation activities
Depending on the program operating for your date, supervised tasks may involve preparing bamboo or other food, helping with approved cleaning work, or learning about daily care routines. The panda base decides what visitors may do.
Direct contact, hand-feeding and photographs with pandas are not assumed parts of this itinerary. We confirm any interaction rules with the facility and follow staff instructions on the day.
Lunch and learning time
Take the arranged lunch break, then continue with the educational content available, such as an introduction to panda behavior, care or conservation work. There may also be time to observe the animals from public viewing areas.
Afternoon session and return
Complete the remaining approved activities before leaving the base. A participation certificate may be available under the facility’s current program. Return to Chengdu in the late afternoon; airport or station drop-off requires separate timing arrangements.
Planning your visit
Program operation, age limits, health requirements and activities must be verified before confirmation. A standard panda-base visit can be discussed if a participation program is not available.
