Check the complete reservation
Read the departure city, station name, date, train number and destination together. Beijing has multiple railway stations, so a ticket saying “Beijing” in a general travel plan is not enough to identify where you should go. Keep a copy of the confirmed journey details available while traveling.
Check the passenger information before the reservation is finalized. The name and identity document used for the ticket need to match the traveler. Your trip instructions explain which document to carry and how the booked service is accessed.
Plan the station approach
Allow time for the drive, station entry procedures, finding the departure area and boarding. A train connection after sightseeing must include a realistic margin for traffic; finishing a visit at the time a train leaves is not a workable transfer plan.
Keep essentials with you
Organize luggage so you can manage it through the station and onto the train. Carry travel documents, medication and other immediate necessities in an accessible bag. If a transfer service is booked, its meeting or drop-off location should be checked separately from the railway reservation.
Know what happens on arrival
Identify the destination station and the local contact or onward transport arrangement. Our route instructions distinguish independent rail travel from any station assistance included in your package.
Planning your visit
Use the final ticket and departure instructions for current boarding arrangements. Contact the team before travel if a station name, passenger detail or connection is unclear.
