Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Chongqing arrival and embarkation
Meet your local team at the airport or railway station and transfer to the confirmed dock. If your arrival leaves time, a city visit or dinner can be arranged before boarding.
Embark on the cruise ship in the evening. The pier, boarding window and sailing time come from the operator’s confirmed schedule for your departure.
Day 2: A shore visit and life on board
Enjoy breakfast and the onboard program. The published itinerary features a visit to the Fengdu area, where temples and traditional imagery introduce beliefs about the afterlife.
Return to the ship for river views, meals and activities. A welcome reception or evening entertainment may form part of the vessel’s program. Optional excursions and performances are identified separately from the visits included in your fare.
Day 3: Through the Three Gorges
This is the principal scenery day, with sailing through the Qutang, Wu and Xiling Gorge areas according to the ship’s route. Watch the river narrow between steep slopes and open into broader stretches as the journey continues downstream.
The operator may offer a White Emperor City visit or a smaller-boat excursion into a tributary such as Goddess Stream. The confirmed cruise itinerary determines which stops are included, optional or unavailable on your sailing.
Day 4: Three Gorges Dam and Yichang
After breakfast, follow the disembarkation and dam-visit arrangements supplied by the cruise operator. A ship-lift experience may be offered as an optional addition when operating.
Continue to the confirmed Yichang arrival point, where an onward transfer to the airport or station can be arranged.
