Bring your original passport
Your passport is your ticket. China Railways checks the original identity document used for the reservation. You do not need a paper or electronic ticket.
Send us a clear copy of every traveler’s passport information page before booking. Bring the same valid original on travel day.
Before leaving your hotel
- Install WeChat and save the booking-confirmed contact details.
- Check the confirmed train, meeting time and any service update from our team.
- Pack your original passport, water and a small daypack.
- Arrive at least 30 minutes before departure.

Boarding route
- Enter Beijing North Station and pass the security check.
- Keep the original passport used for the reservation in your hand.
- Find the suburban-railway departure screen and confirm your service.
- Follow signs to the waiting area and platform gate.
- At the gate, present or scan your passport when requested.
- Board the coach shown by station staff and keep your passport accessible.
- Listen and watch for Gubeikou Station before leaving the train.
- After exiting, meet the local team using the instructions in your confirmed booking.
At Gubeikou
The local team meets you at the station and transfers you to the village or camping base. Main luggage can normally be stored at the local base while you hike; confirm this before departure.
Carry cash or a working mobile-payment method for personal purchases. Follow the local team’s instructions for camp equipment and access.
Respect the Wall and the camp
- No drones or unauthorized video equipment.
- No open flames or smoking.
- Pack out rubbish and leave the site clean.
- Return sleeping and camping equipment when requested.
Weather and service changes
Rain, strong wind, fire-control rules or rail suspension can change the plan. The team may adjust the route or use alternative indoor accommodation when camping is unsafe. Confirm the latest plan before leaving Beijing.
Returning to Beijing
The local team returns you to Gubeikou Station for the confirmed service. Bring the same original passport for the return gate and allow time for security.
